Dowden Blocks

These hardwood blocks are timeless. Each block is 4.5” long, 1” wide and ¼” thick allowing for many building and design choices. Since each wood species is a different color, you get the benefit of various colors without paint. They can be made from oak (red and white), poplar, maple, cherry, or walnut. They are great to build towers, buildings, or domino trails. Since the blocks are made of hardwood, they can withstand the demolition of towers too! Dowden AlphaBlocks

These blocks make a great add-on to a set of Dowden Blocks. They are made of solid oak for durability. They have two sizes of curved blocks (small and large) and a larger size of the straight block (9” long sticks). Using these blocks, your child can learn to make letters. AlphaBlocks are sold two ways as a full letter kit and as an add-on kit. The full letter kit includes 6 large curves, 10 small curves, 10 long sticks, and 10 oak Dowden Blocks.
